Outpatients

Currently the Vascular Outpatient Clinics are held in the rooms on the 4th Floor of the Parkside building.

Consultant Clinics are held on Wednesdays.

Vascular Nurse Clinics are daily dealing with wounds, assessment of limb perfusion, post-operative follow-up and the small aneurysm clinic. The Vascular Nurse Clinic is held on the second floor near the entrance to the Vascular and Cardiothoracic Ward, Ward 10.

A variety of specialised sessions are planned so that patients with similar non-urgent conditions can be seen and assessed in an efficient and timely manner, to reduce the number of visits to hospital for tests, to get opinions from other medical specialists, and treatment planning. The following conditions are generally seen in specialist sessions.

Renal Transplant and Access
Varicose Veins
Vascular Malformations

Urgent cases are dealt with preferentially and are usually seen within 2 weeks of referral.

Non-urgent cases are seen within the three month requirement, and usually within a few weeks of referral.

Please note: Referral is required from your GP for an appointment with Vascular Outpatients
