Stroke
Surgery can sometimes be used to prevent the recurrence of strokes or the development of a severe disabling stroke. Diabetic Foot
Patients with diabetes can suffer with complex foot diseases, often a combination of vessel disease, nerve disease and foot deformity cause areas of the foot or the toes to become dangerously infected. Prevention is best but treatment of advanced diabetic foot disease often needs many disciplins to work together and with the patient to prevent further deterioration and tissue loss, and to get healing. Vascular Malformation
Rarely, abnormal collections of blood vessels develop, they are usually present from birth (congenital). They can grow over time and can become symptomatic.
